We are a humble team and are starting from ground zero. Officially formed in 2008, the Tigers are made up of youths who used to play at a basketball court in Toa Payoh North. 205 is the block number that is associated with the basketball court.

After more than a decade of playing together in the courts, in 2003, possibly the last batch of players of 205, decided to form a soccer team together. However, playing on the field was an on-off event. This cycle carried on until 2008.

With the initiative from Hashim and Farhan, they bravely knocked on the door of a friend's father, pursuing knowledge of football from one of the greatest players in Singapore's history.

And so it started, from 2 scrawly kids to a team made up mainly of youth in Toa Payoh North.

Our coach is Uncle Zainal Abidin Manan. He was in the first team that won 1977 M-Cup so discipline and commitment is our utmost criteria. Not to worry, we mingle around a lot as Uncle emphasized team work and spirit is the key to any team.

I believe we are moving in the right direction but will need patience as we just started in the early quarter of this year.

We are also self-funded so money plays an important part to make sure games, training and equipments are well taken care off. Also, will need the finance to register the team as a society. But that aside, we would have to strengthen the daily running of the team first.

We are looking for players who are able to contribute to the team with their knowledge and experience should they join us.
